Polonia Deportation Immigration 2 Foreigners From India Violate Stay Permits
MEDAN - Polonia Class 1 Immigration Office, Medan, North Sumatra deported two foreign nationals (foreigners) from India for violating their stay permit in Indonesia.
"They will be deported through Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, on Thursday (10/8)," said Head of the Immigration Division of the North Sumatra Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office Ignatius Purwanto in Medan as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 9.
The two foreigners from India are Razaque Ponna Vallappil and Abdul Sattar Sekh who were secured at Jalan KH Zainul Arifin, Madras Hulu Village, Medan Polonia District, Medan City on July 13, 2023.
"The case of violating the residence permit and the overstay was revealed to have started from public information regarding the whereabouts of an Indian foreigner who worked at the Martabak Har Restaurant on Jalan KH Zainul Arifin Medan," he said.
On that basis, Ignatius said immigration officers made observations and found the facts of immigration violations against foreigners from India.
Razaque Ponna Vallappil is a limited residence permit holder for investors with the position of President Director of PT Indian Fast Food Medan, which is the owner of the Martabak Har Restaurant.

Meanwhile, Abdul Sattar Sekh, who holds a residence permit for visits who do inappropriate activities, such as making, cooking cooks, cashiers at the Martabak Har Restaurant.
From this act, Razaque Ponna Vallappil is subject to Article 75 paragraph in conjunction with Article 53 letter g of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration, while Abdul Sattar Sekh is subject to Article 78 paragraph 3 in conjunction with Article 75 of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration.
It was recorded that during March 2023, there were around nine foreigners from Malaysia, India, Yemen (ex Indonesian citizens and overstay), the Netherlands (ex Indonesia) with the majority of Malaysia and India.
