Group Reshuffle Agency, 4 Members Leave Ciipher
JAKARTA - K-pop group Cipher underwent an overhaul. Not just one, but four members officially left the group under the Rain Company agency.
Today, Wednesday, August 9, Rain Company announced Tan, Tag, Dohwan, and Won will leave the group. Three remaining members: Hyunbin, Hwi, and Keita will continue promotions as Cipher.
Hello. This is Rain Company. We want to inform Cipher's activities. After discussing enough, the company decided to respect member opinion and we agreed that Tan, Tag, Dohwan and Won would end their activities as Cipher members, starting today, "said a statement from Rain Company.
The agency explained the Cipher group would go through an overhaul with the remaining three members. But they haven't told whether they will add new members or continue with three members.
"Keita will hold the first fan meeting in Japan in August, while three other members will meet fans through various projects," they said.

Cipher is a K-pop group founded by singer Rain under the Rain Company agency. He conducted a member search for three years before finding seven members. Several members are also known to have participated in a number of competitions.
In 2014, Tan participated in the No Mercy competition but did not qualify for the final stage as a member of Monsta X. Keita and Dohwan are Treasure Box contestants made by YG Entertainment but did not qualify in the final stage.
Won participated in the Under Nine event and won seventh place. He became a member of 1the9, the group that won the event and promoted for one year.
Hyunbin is a contestant for Produce X 101 under the agency Starship Entertainment and eliminated in the 32nd position. They debuted in 2021 with the mini album I Like You.
Then Rain Company sent Keita and Tag to compete in Boys Planet and Hyunbin in Fantasy Boys. Hyunbin was again eliminated while Tag withdrew from the event before the event started.
At the end of the episode, Keita took 12th place and was confirmed to debut in a Boys Planet project group called EVNNE.
