100 Kg Ganjar From Field 1.5 Hectare Destroyed By Bengkulu Police
BENGKULU - Bengkulu Regional Police (Polda) destroyed evidence in the form of 100 kilograms of marijuana or 308 sticks resulting from the disclosure of a 1.5 hectare marijuana field in Rejang Lebong Regency some time ago. "The Bengkulu Police in collaboration with the Bengkulu National Narcotics Agency destroyed 308 cannabis sticks planted on an area of 1 hectare in Binduriang District, Rejang Lebong Regency," said Bengkulu Police Deputy Chief of Police Brigadier General Agus Salim, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 9. In addition to destroying the evidence, the Bengkulu Police also arrested AP who was tasked with guarding his sister's land, namely JM, which is currently included in the People's Search List (DPO). The suspect AP gets Rp. 100,000 per night as wages for maintaining marijuana fields that have been planted for three to four months and have been harvested twice. With the disclosure of the marijuana field, the Bengkulu Police invites the entire community to work together in destroying drugs, especially in the Bengkulu area. "We invite all Bengkulu people to work together in efforts to eradicate these drugs, for that to the community if they are found again using marijuana fields where they hope to report it to us immediately," he said.
Previously, the Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Bengkulu Police found a 1.5 hectare marijuana field in the Binduriang District, Rejang Lebong Regency.

The cannabis plant is grown among coffee plants, which amount to hundreds of stems and the plant is estimated to be four to eight months old, with an average height of 1.5 meters to four meters.
