Megawati Reminds BRIN Researchers Not To Corruption: Be Careful With 3 Letters!
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Steering Committee of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Megawati Soekarnoputri reminded researchers not to be corrupt. Do not let them become entangled by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) because they play a lot of state money.
This was conveyed by Megawati during a dialogue with researchers at the 'BRIN Hearing' event at the Nayaka Loka Building, Candikuning Botanical Gardens, Tabanan, Bali. He said research funds should not make a bancakan.
"Be careful with three letters. Because if the research later the money will be big. From here, be careful, don't play it," Megawati was quoted as saying in a written statement, Monday, August 7.
Megawati then asked 127 researchers who were present about the three letters in question. "You know what the three letters are trying to do," Megawati asked and answered simultaneously, "KPK".
"I should remember, I was president. I was vice president. I know how it works and I made the KPK," he said.

Megawati said this warning was intended for researchers to work hard. Because they have an obligation to help the people.
One of them, is to overcome the problem of stunting or malnutrition. "Come on, you guys are scientists, don't think about people's lives? So you guys are researchers, what are schools all for," said the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia.
"This lack of nutrients, vegetables for bones, bone growth. The brain does not develop, so the IQ is below average. I said if it is not eradicated up to 0 percent. That is not the responsibility of the state? Yes, yes. Then you researchers are not ashamed that Indonesians cannot be cured because of lack of food, because of lack of nutrition," concluded Megawati.
