Ferry Irawan Keberatan Harus Berikah Rp 30 Juta Ke Venna Melinda
JAKARTA - Ferry Irawan and Venna Melinda were officially divorced. The panel of judges at the South Jakarta Religious Court (PA) decided the case e-court on Friday, August 3 yesterday.
Khairul Iman and Sunan Kalijaga as Ferry Irawan's legal team confirmed that the court had granted his client's lawsuit for the mentality of one Venna Melinda.
In addition, it was also informed that in the decision, the panel of judges granted Venna Melinda's request for mut'ah money and a living from Ferry Irawan.
"Mas Ferry was sentenced to pay a mut'ah of Rp. 30 million and a salary for a period of 3 months, namely Rp. 30 million," Khairul Iman told the media crew in Senayan, Central Jakarta on Saturday, August 4.
Given Ferry Irawan's condition, who is currently still in prison, the legal team feels it is impossible for his client to fulfill the mut'ah money and the income that Venna Melinda asked for.

"Mas Ferry is behind bars, he has no income, can't do activities that can generate, so for our side to make it up. In a sense, how do you want to get a temporary income in your position," said Sunan Kalijaga.
Regarding the dissatisfaction with the decision on the living, Ferry Irawan's legal team has not yet determined the steps to be taken. They will consult with their client's family first.
"Yes, we'll see (compared or not). Yesterday it also didn't break up the family, it's just that Mas Ferry's family still wants to separate," said Sunan.
Furthermore, Khairul Iman said that it was appropriate for Ferry Irawan to give a living to Venna Melinda after the divorce. However, the problem is a nominal that feels too big and maybe his client cannot fulfill.
In my opinion, iddah and mut'ah must be given to their ex-wife. Nafkah iddah for three months and mut'ah's living is a gift from my husband when he runs his household, it is mandatory. But related to the problem, the figure is a bit like it, you can see from the background that was requested. The iddah Nafkah that my client can give is only Rp. 200 thousand. Because the cost of asking, that's why I wrote Rp. 200 thousand, "said Khairul Iman, Ferry Irawan's attorney.
