Elon Musk Announces X Blue Subscribers Can Now Download Videos Via Websites
JAKARTA - Elon Musk, the owner of the Twitter rebranding platform, X officially announced that X Blue users can now download videos belonging to others via official websites, if they allow them.
In fact, this new feature started rolling out on July 25, where X Blue subscribers can download videos as genuine, they no longer have to use third-party apps.
Musk, in an announcement on his official X account, explained that verified users can download content by tapping the elliptic menu in the upper right corner of the screen when the video is in full screen mode.

Apart from going through the website, Musk also said X would soon make it easier to download videos on mobile by simply tapping and holding content on the screen.
However, customers must first allow downloads for the content they post and only unlocked accounts can use the feature.

The download settings also do not apply to users under the age of 18. Unfortunately, non-X Blue users cannot use this feature, they are required to subscribe, as quoted from Engadget and Business Standard, Thursday, August 4.
Recently, X added the ability to Tweet as many as 25,000 characters and post videos that last up to three hours on its Blue subscribers.
