Duren Sawit Police Investigate The Cause Of 1 Worker's Death Buried In The Land Of Office Basement Development
JAKARTA - The Duren Sawit Police have begun an investigation regarding the death of a project worker who was buried under the ground and casting concrete material when carrying out construction of an office project on Jalan Radin Inten II, Duren Sawit Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta.
Duren Sawit Police Chief AKP Sutikno said that as a result of the work accident one worker died and the other was seriously injured.
"There were two victims, one of whom was dead. We referred them to a post-mortem to the Police Hospital. Initials S the victim died," he said when confirmed, Tuesday, August 1.
Furthermore, one victim who suffered serious injuries was successfully evacuated in a conscious condition.
"Then we can evacuate one from Damkar (firefighters) friends. Thank God it was saved. Now we are evacuating to the hospital for treatment," he said.
Meanwhile, AKP Sutikno has not explained further regarding the examination of witnesses from project workers and contractors of the project.
"Later, the process of further investigation (investigation of project contractors) will be carried out," he said.
