Down Slightly, Telkom Recorded A Net Profit Of IDR 12.75 Trillion In Semester I-2023
JAKARTA - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) recorded a net profit of IDR 12.75 trillion in the first semester of 2023. This amount decreased 4.21 percent from the same period the previous year of IDR 13.31 trillion.
Telkom's net profit was supported by revenue which reached IDR 73.47 trillion in the first semester of 2023, or an increase of 2.07 percent year on year (yoy) from the previous IDR 71.98 trillion in the same period the previous year.
The majority of the company's revenues were contributed by the mobile business segment of Rp42.16 trillion, followed by the consumer business segment of Rp13.28 trillion, then the enterprise business segment of 9.29 trillion, the Wholesale and International Business (WIB) business segment of 6.80 trillion, and other business segments of Rp591 billion.
Quoting Antara, along with the increase in revenue, Telkom recorded an increase in financial expenses, including operating expenses, maintenance, and telecommunication services to Rp19.17 trillion, and, the burden of shrinking and amortization of Rp15,94 trillion.
Then, employee expenses amounted to IDR 7.84 trillion, general and administrative expenses amounted to IDR 3.33 trillion, interconnection expenses amounted to IDR 3.09, and marketing expenses amounted to IDR 1.65 trillion.

During the first semester of 2023, the company's equity amount was recorded at IDR 140.35 trillion, while the company's total liabilities were recorded at IDR 150.12 trillion.
Thus, the company's total assets were recorded at IDR 290.47 trillion in the first semester of 2023, or an increase from the previous IDR 275.19 trillion in the same period the previous year.
Previously, at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on May 30, 2023, Telkom decided to distribute dividends for the 2022 financial year of IDR 16.6 trillion and will be paid no later than July 5, 2023.
Meanwhile, Telkom's dividend payment ratio (dividend pay out ratio) is 80 percent of the net profit for the 2022 financial year, or around Rp. 167 per share.
