The Flow Of Bribery Money For The Railway Line Project Allegedly Flows To KAI Daop 2 Bandung
SEMARANG - Commitment Making Officer (PPK) Bandung Railway Engineering Center Shynto Hutabarat said the flow of bribes originating from a number of implementers of the railway line improvement project in the West Java region flowed to PT KAI Daop 2 Bandung.
Hal tersebut terungkap saat pemeriksaan saksi dalam sidang dugaan suap pejabat Direktorat Jenderal Perrapian Kementerian Perhubungan dengan terdakwa Direktur PT Istana Putra Agung Dion Renato Sugiarto.
Shynto Hutabarat who was examined as a witness at the trial was a PPK who handled the Lampegan-Cianjur train line improvement project.
In addition to the defendant Dion Renato, the bribe to Shynto who is also a suspect in the same crime was also given by the Director of PT Dwifarita Fajarkharisma, Muchamad Hikmat Fan, a businessman named Zulfikar Fahmi.
The total money received by witnesses from the businessmen reached Rp1.7 billion.
The allocation of the money includes the management of the official handover report at PT KAI Daop 2 Bandung amounting to Rp80 million.
In addition, he said, there was money from contractors whose value reached Rp1.3 billion.
"The plan is for money for THR employees at the Bandung Railway Engineering Center, structural officials in Daop 2 Bandung, the Directorate General of Railways, and the honorarium for the working group," he said during a trial at the Semarang Corruption Court, reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 31.
He mentioned various gifts for officials and employees at the Railway Technical Center and PT KAI Daop Bandung based on the information previously replaced by PPK, David Damanik.
Previously, the Director of PT Istana Putra Agung Dion Renato Sugiarto was charged with giving bribes to officials of the Directorate General of Railways at the Ministry of Transportation with a total of Rp. 27.9 billion in order to obtain construction work and improve railway lines in three provinces.
The railway line projects carried out by construction service companies in the railway sector are located in Central Java, West Java, and South Sulawesi.
