Prosecutor Demands Defendant Of 18 Months In Prison Fish Bombing Raid Seller

BANDAR LAMPUNG - Public Prosecutor (JPU), Avi, charged the defendant M Jorgi Sanjaya with 18 months in prison for the sale of fish bomb axes and explosives.

"Demanding that the defendant be sentenced to 18 months in prison," said the Public Prosecutor when reading the verdict at the trial at the Tanjungkarang District Court, Bandar Lampung, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, July 27.

In this case, the defendant is subject to Article 1 paragraph (1) of the Emergency Law of the Republic of Indonesia No, 12 of 1951.

After listening to the reading of the charges, the defendant planned to file a plea (defense) which would be submitted in writing at the upcoming trial.

"We will convey the defense, we will compile a defense from both us and the defendant," said the defendant's legal advisor team, M Ariansyah and Setiady Rosadi.

Pleidoi, which will be delivered at the trial next week, will convey the defendants who sold the fish bomb axes and powder on the orders of two of his colleagues, Sandi (DPO) and Jimmy DPO.

"We will reveal all of them, the role of this defendant. This defendant did it only once and was ordered by his colleague. He agreed because he needed money," he said.

The defendant admitted that he was asked to sell fish explosives, only getting Rp. 50,000 in wages.

"The defendant was paid 50 thousand and had not received the money. The defendant also did that on the basis of being forced to buy milk," he said.
