Police Shoot Police To Death In Bogor Police Flat

JAKARTA - Police Brigadier Ignatius Dwi Frisco Sirage was shot dead by two of his colleagues who are also members of the police. Both Bripda IMS and Bripka IG.

"There has been a criminal act of negligence that resulted in the death of the person, namely the IDF Bripda," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan in his statement, Wednesday, July 26.

The incident that killed Bripda Ignatius Dwi Frisco Sirage took place at the Police Flats, Cikeas, Gunung Putri, Bogor, on Sunday, July 23.

However, Ramadhan did not specify the series of events that caused the death of Bripda Ignatius Dwi Frisco Sirage. It was only conveyed that the Bripda IMS and Bripka IG who were suspects had been arrested.

Currently, the National Police Propam and the Detective Unit are handling the case. The goal is to determine the forms of violations of the two suspects.

"Currently the case is handled by a joint team of Propam and Criminal Investigation Unit to find out violations of discipline, code of ethics or crime committed by the perpetrators," he said.

Brigadier General Ramadhan emphasized that the National Police will take action against all its members who are proven guilty in accordance with applicable regulations. Thus, the sense of justice will be felt by all Indonesian citizens.

"What is certain is that the National Police will not tolerate individuals who violate the applicable provisions or laws," said Ramadhan.
