Facilitating Cross-Agency Permits, Banyuwangi Inaugurates Special Service Outlets For Fishermen
SURABAYA - Banyuwangi Regency Government officially has an Integrated Licensing Service Outlet for fishermen. This outlet is to provide convenience and acceleration for the processing of fishermen's permits, which have authority across agencies from provinces to ministries.
"In the early stages, there are 11 types of services in one place. In the future we will develop more related support for fishermen, and later it can become a center for the empowerment program for coastal communities," said Regent of Banyuwangi, Abdullah Azwar Anas, when inaugurating the Fisheries Business Service Outlet. Integrated at the Muncar Beach Fishing Port (PPP), in Banyuwangi, Friday, January 29.
Anas explained, the Integrated Licensing Service Outlet for fishermen is an integrated service place, where all document processing is carried out in one place. This outlet integrates fisherman permit management, which has so far involved the Banyuwangi Fisheries Service, East Java Provincial Fisheries and Maritime Affairs Office, Class III Port Authority and Port Authority Office (KSOP), as well as the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Affairs.
Permits that can be served include, Port Services, Fuel Recommendations, Fishing Products (SHTI), Sailing Approval Letter (SPB), Operation Eligibility Letter (SLO), Fishery Business License (SIUP), Fishing Permit (SIPI) ), Fish Transport Ship Permit (SIKPI). Then the Fishery Ship Registration Certificate (TDKP), Ship PAS (boat ownership sign), Marine and Fisheries Business Card (Kusuka), to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
"Thank you for the support of the Governor of East Java, Mrs. Khofifah Indar Parawansa and the ministry, so that this outlet can be present and serve Banyuwangi fishermen well. This facility will certainly make fishermen feel calmer in working because the licensing requirements are met," said Anas.
In the last 10 years, continued Anas, Banyuwangi is committed to providing easy and fast public services for residents. This time Banyuwangi is trying to bring the quality of service to fishermen.
"Especially in a pandemic like this where the situation is difficult, it is necessary to take quick steps to ease the burden on the residents. We integrate the management of various fishing boat licenses, whose authority lies at the central and provincial levels," he said.
In addition, said Anas, the outlet will also be equipped with population administration management services such as ID cards, family cards, and others. So that fishermen just come to one place for various needs. "This is the orchestration carried out by the Banyuwangi Regency Government together with all related agencies," said Anas.
Meanwhile, the Head of UPT UPP Muncar, Supinah, is grateful for this integrated service. According to him, this kind of service will erode the reluctance to take care of fishermen's permits. "Here all agencies that have the authority to issue permits are integrated. We are relieved if all can provide integrated services here," said Supinah.
