First Lady Iriana Jokowi Scheduled To Socialize Stunting Reduction In Banyuwangi
BANYUWANGI - First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo is scheduled to make a working visit to Banyuwangi Regency, East Java to carry out several programs, one of which is the socialization of stunting reduction, on Tuesday (25/7).
"He will visit Banyuwangi to carry out several programs, starting from the socialization of stunting reduction, reduction of plastic waste, and various other programs. He will also meet Banyuwangi children who coincide with the commemoration of National Children's Day 2023," said Banyuwangi Regency Regional Secretary Mujiono as reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 24.
Mrs. Iriana is scheduled to review a number of stunting management programs in Banyuwangi Regency, which are currently the government's attention. The government has a national stunting rate target by 2024 that can be below 14 percent.
"Later, the First Lady will meet posyandu cadres and mobile vegetable sellers who are involved in dealing with stunting in Banyuwangi," said Mujiono.
In addition, Mrs. Iriana is also scheduled to meet with Banyuwangi's children to play traditional games, such as bamboo shells, batok egrang, sack racing, congklak, sodor gobak and so on.
"When with children, the First Lady will also socialize clean and healthy living behavior, such as washing hands with soap, small doctors, PPGD/UKS," he said.
