Prosecutors Confiscate Dozens Of Documents Related To The Procurement Of Medical Devices At The Sumbawa Hospital
The prosecutor's investigators confiscated dozens of documents related to the procurement of medical devices (alkes) in the 2022 fiscal year at the Sumbawa Regional General Hospital (RSUD), West Nusa Tenggara.
Head of the Intelligence Section of the Sumbawa Kejari Anak Agung Putu Juliartana said the confiscation of the document was related to search activities in the need of investigating cases of alleged corruption of funds from regional business service agencies (BLUD).
"Yes, from the results of a search this afternoon at the Sumbawa Hospital, we confiscated 46 documents in two boxes. This document is related to the procurement of medical equipment, such as work contracts and proof of payment," Agung said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 17.
The follow-up to the confiscation, he said, investigators still have to study and research all documents.
"We still have to study the confiscated documents first. If there is a connection with the case we are handling, of course it will be complete evidence," he said.
Regarding the search, the Director of the Sumbawa Hospital, dr. Nieta Ariyani said that the procurement of medical equipment for the 2022 fiscal year took place through the e-Catalog method.

With the confiscation of documents, he said that his party would cooperate in supporting the prosecutor's office in handling the alleged corruption case of the BLUD funds.
"What was requested by the prosecutor's office, we have given it, including the e-catalog document for the procurement of medical equipment," he said.
