There Are 3 Special TPS In Al-Zaytun For Elections, Number Of Voters Registered 815 People
InDRAMAYU - Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) of Indramayu Regency, West Java, Ahmad Toni Fathoni stated that in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) there were six special polling stations (TPS), three of whom were at the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School.
"In Indramayu Regency, there are six special polling stations, three in the Correctional Institution and three others at Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School," said Ahmad Toni Fathoni as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, July 15.
Toni said that overall TPS in Indramayu Regency reached 5,315 units with six special TPS, because the location is in Indramayu Prison, and also Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School.
According to him, there are three special polling stations at the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School, because the number of registered voters reached 815 people, consisting of 398 men and 417 women.
It was explained that each TPS in accordance with the regulations should not be more than 300 people, so that in Al-Zaytun three polling stations were established to accommodate voters who were inside the boarding school.
"The total number of voters at Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School reached 815 people, so that three polling stations were established," he said.
Toni explained that apart from Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School, a special TPS was also established at the Indramayu Correctional Institution (Lapas), because in the prison there were 645 voters.

Of these, 618 male convicts and 27 other women, later the special TPS is expected to increase the level of voter participation.
Toni said that for the 2024 election, there were 1,373,770 voters in the Indramayu Regency, an increase of 70,912 people when compared to the 2029 Pilkada, namely 1,302,788 people.
"DPT Indramayu Regency in the 2024 General Election reached 1,373,770 voters," he said.
