No Longer Murung, Teddy Adhitya Enters A New Happy Phase
JAKARTA - Soloist Teddy Adhitya is entering a new phase in his musical progress through a new single marker entitled Like Every Day released today, Friday.
In this new single, Teddy sings quite different music compared to the previous materials that no longer sound gloomy. Through Like Every Day, Teddy comes with cheerful music with a touch of R&B.
This single is the first material for Teddy this year as well as the opening series for the new album "all, all" which will be released on August 24. Compared to previous works that used more English, now Teddy is developing songs in Indonesian.
"This is my dream as an Ambon child to make an Indonesian album, because it is difficult to talk about Ambon's child if he still releases a song in English," Teddy said as quoted by Antara, Friday.
"One of the intentions to make this album is to bring back the pride as a child of Ambon that I felt when I was little," added the Ambon-blooded singer.
In 2016, Teddy launched his first single titled "In Your Wonderland". He has released two studio albums for each "Nothing is Real" in 2017 and "Question Mark(?))" 2019, as well as the mini album "Ocean" (2022).
Before Like Every Day, Teddy had also released several Indonesian-language singles including My Favorite Sky (2021), Should (2021), and Future (2021).

The main theme of single Like Every Day specifically discusses the hopeless romantic situation in a romantic relationship.
"The hopeless romance, at the end of the song I'm still being realistic," said Teddy about the lyrics of the song.
"I can say like you and I will be fine with sweet promises and all kinds of things, but at the end of the day, we are just human beings. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry," continued Teddy.
In the process of being worked on, Teddy also involved many parties including three guitarists ranging from Vicky Geovadi and Adityar Andra who were session players on each stage, to Petra Sihombing. Teddy himself also went directly as a producer in the single Like Every Day.
