The Story Of Mahalini Who Had Given Up Realizing Her Dream Of Being A Singer
JAKARTA - Ni Luh Ketut Mahalini Ayu Raharja alias Mahalini is known as one of the young female soloists who is widely loved today. His participation in the Indonesian Idol event in 2019 was the starting point for him to start his career in the Indonesian music industry.
Despite dreams of becoming a professional singer since he was a teenager, Mahalini gave up on achieving his dream. At first participating in the audition for Indonesian Idol, Rizky Febian's lover admitted that he had been rejected and failed to advance to the next round.
This failure made Mahalini shift her focus on her studies in the medical department. He had thought that doctors were his profession in the future.
Before, I had time to participate (an Indonesian Idol petition), but actually I was in medical college too. So it's like, 'Well, I just go to college,' Mahalini told the media crew in Thamrin, Central Jakarta on Friday, July 7th.
However, the bright spot actually came when he was trying to bury his dream of becoming a singer. Mahalini was invited directly by a talent search event that had rejected her.
"Finally, it seemed like it was in direct with (Indonesian) Idol, it turned out that last year (2019), when I was in my year. Even though I've already given up because I didn't previously enter (the audit of Indonesian Idol)," said Mahalini.
