Amartha Collaborates With Kominfo To Improve MSME Digitization

JAKARTA - PT Amartha Micro Fintek (Amartha), an inclusive financial access provider platform, collaborates with the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) in increasing the digitization of MSMEs in rural areas. Collaboration is carried out with the Digital Technology Adoption and Business Incubation program UMKM UMKM Level Up. We are excited to cooperate with the Ministry of Communication and Informatics in accelerating the adoption of digital technology 4.0 among Indonesian MSMEs," said Chief Operating Officer Amartha Budhi Siswoadji in an official statement received in Jakarta, Saturday, July 8. Amartha sees enormous potential for MSMEs to compete. However further intervention is needed, for example by providing financial and digital literacy. Therefore, by adopting digitalization, Budhi said that MSMEs have the potential to expand market reach and develop their business capabilities in order to be more prosperous. In this program, Amartha as one of the facilitators provides training, material preparation, to mentoring facilities, which aims to facilitate the adoption of digital technology 4.0 for MSME actors. This training and mentoring program is an initiative of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology to develop the potential skills and independence of MSME business actors through the digital ecosystem. The hope is that MSME actors can improve marketing access, efficiency and effectiveness of operations, as well as have an impact on sales transactions as well as the competitiveness of MSMEs in Indonesia.

Sementara itu, Direktur Jenderal Aplikasi Informatika Kementerian Kominfo Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan mengatakan melalui program ini, Kominfo akan meningkatkan adopsi digital bagi pelaku UMKM agar produktivitasnya meningkat dan memfasilitasi inkubasi bisnis 100 pelaku UMKM binaan Kementerian Kominfo yang sudah memiliki kemampuan digital dalam memasarkan produk."Dengan melibatkan para fasilitator, harapannya peningkatan level adopsi teknologi digital dan peningkatan kemampuan bisnis dapat memberi nilai lebih serta mendorong produksi salam negeri yang berdampak pada peningkatan nilai ekspor dan pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional," ungkap Semuel.Adapun program kelas tersebut akan diselenggarakan oleh Kementerian Kominfo di berbagai wilayah sebaran UMKM di Indonesia meliputi Jabodetabek, Banten, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, Yogyakarta, Jawa Timur, Sumatra Utara, Sulawesi Tenggara, Bangka Belitung, Kalimantan Barat, Maluku Utara, Nusa Tenggara Barat dan Timur, serta Papua dan Papua Barat, dengan tema seputar inklusi keuangan dan digital.Dengan demikian selama enam bulan ke depan, Amartha akan menyampaikan materi yang relevan dan mendampingi UMKM dalam mendigitalisasi perekonomian.
