KPK Investigates 3 Witnesses Of Jabodetabek Bansos Corruption Involving Former Minister Juliari Batubara
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate the bribery case in the corruption case for the provision of social assistance (Bansos) for the Jabodetabek Region in 2020.
Monday, January 27 today, the KPK examined 3 people in their capacity as witnesses for the suspect former Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Juliari Peter Batubara (JPB).
"Examined as a witness for JPB suspect and his friends," explained Acting KPK Spokesman Ali Fikri in an electronic message received by journalists on Wednesday night.
The first witness is Eko Budi Santoso who is Juliari Batubara's adjutant. The investigation is to deepen his knowledge about the role and special direction of the suspect Juliari in the 2020 Jabodetabek social assistance procurement at the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs.
The second witness is Budi Pamungkas who is the Director of PT. Integra Padma Mandiri. "This is confirmed regarding the witness company participation as one of the providers of social assistance packages as well as technical payments for cooperation in the procurement of Social Assistance for the Greater Jakarta area," explained Ali Fikri.
The last is the witness Indah Budi Safitri. Ali Fikri said, the witness Indah Budi presents to submit various documents related to this case.
In this case, apart from Juliari and Adi, the KPK has also named 3 other suspects, namely Commitment Making Officer (PPK) at the Ministry of Social Affairs Matheus Joko Santoso (MJS) and Harry Van Sidabukke (HS) and Ardian Iskandar Maddanatja (AIM).
"The KPK Investigative Team is still investigating the active participation of AIM suspects in the process of procuring Bansos for the Jabodetabek area as well as the alleged details of giving a sum of money to the suspected MJS and friends," Ali Fikri concluded.
