This family-themed film tells the story of June and Kopi being part of a married couple, Aya (Acha Septriasa) and (Ryan Delon). When Aya welcomed the birth of her daughter, Karin (Makayla Rose Hilli), June immediately became Karin's loyal companion.
They had a friendly relationship from when Karin was a baby to growing up. Unfortunately, one day Karin and June are caught in an alarming situation. Aya also hopes that June will be able to look after her daughter.
This film was shot around July or August 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic broke out. "This is the first film about dogs in Indonesia", Ryan said in a BTS video uploaded by Acha on Instagram @septriasaacha.
Acha admitted that she was interested in this film because it provided a new experience, namely acting with dogs. "Always interested in new projects with a different story quality. This film offers an even more colorful choice in the Indonesian film industry and I myself learned to like dogs more deeply", Acha said on Wednesday, January 27.
During the shooting process, Acha was even more amazed that dogs were not just animals that could be kept. They are also animals that are easy to learn, memorize, have emotional attachments, and so on.
"I was so amazed by June and Kopi when I first approached them. When I started filming, they seemed ready with the scene we presented. For example, I changed the baby's diaper and June had to throw the diaper in the trash. And I felt intimidated as an actress with them who are more memorize the scene", she recalled.
