Not Yet Undergoing Investigation, The Perpetrator Of The Burning Wife And Child In Cakung Is Still Being Treated At The Hospital

The East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) has not carried out further investigations on Usman Sayuti, the perpetrator of the burning of his wife and two children that occurred at the rented house of Jalan Inspeksi PPD, Cakung District, East Jakarta on Wednesday, June 28.

The reason is, the perpetrator is still undergoing intensive treatment because he found burns all over his body. The perpetrator is being treated at the Sukapura Islamic Hospital, North Jakarta.

"The perpetrator is still under treatment. An in-depth investigation will be carried out," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the East Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Dhimas Prasetyo when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, July 5.

AKBP Dhimas said that there had been no further investigations considering that the perpetrator was still injured.

"Meanwhile, the results are still investigations (motives because of jealousy)," he said.

As a result of his actions, the perpetrator also suffered burns to his hands, thighs and legs. From his identity, the perpetrator was recorded as working as a security guard.

Previously, the police continued to investigate the case of US (48), the husband who allegedly burned his wife W (39) and his two children K (13) and I (15) in the Cakung area, East Jakarta.

Head of PPA Satreskrim Polres Metro East Jakarta, Iptu Sri Yatmin, said the incident started with the perpetrator who had an argument with his wife, because the perpetrator was jealous of the victim.

"In the meantime, in our investigation process, he is jealous of his wife," Sri said when confirmed in Jakarta, Sunday, July 2.

Based on the examination, it turned out that the perpetrator had prepared a bottle filled with gasoline during an argument with his wife. However, when asked by residents, the perpetrator admitted that the charger cellphone suddenly exploded.
