At-Tin Mosque Distributes 3,000 Packs Of Sacrificial Meat
JAKARTA - The At-Tin Grand Mosque in East Jakarta distributed 3,000 packs of sacrificial animal meat in the context of Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijri. All sacrificial meat was distributed to 150 Neighborhood Units (RT) and institutions.
"We have 26 cows. It is estimated that all of them will be 3,000 packs distributed to 150 RTs and institutions," said At-Tin Djaeni Grand Mosque Management in Jakarta, Thursday.
Djaeni explained that the distribution of sacrificial meat from the At-Tin Mosque only reaches areas around mosques, such as RT in the Lubang Buaya area, Cipayung, and so on.
Meanwhile, for institutions, according to Djaeni, the distribution of sacrificial meat is given to foundations such as orphanages and poor institutions.
Djaeni said the sacrificial animal distribution scheme was carried out with coupons given to each RT representative and institution. The At-Tin Mosque sacrificial committee then gave sacrificial meat to each RT representative and institution.
"We have packaged the sacrificial meat. Later the representatives will be distributed, use coupons. So, only the head of the RT or foundation submits a proposal to us to take the sacrificial meat," explained Djaeni.
