Ahead Of The Launch, Skolda Calls The 2024 Kodiaq Specification And Offers Hybrid Machine Options

JAKARTA - Ahead of its launch, Skolda revealed the specifications of the latest Kodiaq 2024 SUV. This car will also get a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant.

Grouped as segment D-SUV, the second-generation Kodiaq has a length of 4,758 mm with a wheelbase of 2,791 mm. With this, the size of Kodiaq 2024 is longer than its predecessor.

Although the car is still covered in camouflage stickers, the exterior is quite exposed, which illustrates what the body looks like from Kodiaq 2024. Skolda still features a typical manufacturer's wide grip with two additional lights under the two main lights.

The shape of the front bumper is also slightly changed by the design of air flow to help aerodynamics in Kodiaq 2024. The stock of the rearview mirror has also been moved slightly lower.

Moving to the back, Skolda seems to have redesigned the back light to be more flat which is likely to be wider than the pre-production version that has been disguised.

For the seven-seat version, Kodiaq can be available with cargo spaces of 340 to 845 liters depending on whether the seats can be folded or not. As for the five seats, get an extensive cargo space of 910 liters, as reported by Motor1, Monday, June 26.

Speaking of engines, Skolda Kodiaq 2024 will offer the same engine as VW Tiguan with 1.5 liter TSI hybrid military technology with a power of 150 dk in collaboration with front wheels and dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Then, a 2.0 liter TSI engine with 204 dk is also presented with all wheels driving. Skolda also features a 2.0 liter diesel engine of TDI which is able to emit up to 150 dk by driving the front wheels and 193 dk by driving all wheels. Both will be powered by an automatic dual-clutch system.

This version of the engine is the most awaited, namely Skolda Kodiaq 2024 will have the PHEV engine option with 1.5 TSI engine and electric motor so that the power is combined to 204 dk which is channeled through the transmission of six accelerations.

Skolda gives a 25.7 kWh battery with a car that can go with pure electric power up to 100 km. The battery can be charged with a DC fast charging system of 50 kW and AC 11 kW.

The Czech Republic manufacturer will show Kodiaq's true identity this fall as well as introduce the latest generation from Superb.
