Hajj Pilgrims Start Moving To Arafah
JAKARTA - Hajj pilgrims from all over the world began moving to Padang Arafah to undergo the peak of the pilgrimage which began with the wukuf ritual in Arafah on Tuesday 9 Dzulhijjah 1444 Hijriah or 27 June 2023.
Reported by ANTARA, pilgrims have started moving to Padang Arafah using buses that have been prepared by the Saudi authorities.
Security officers were on guard all the way to regulate traffic and the movement of pilgrims to Padang Arafah from Mina.
Saudi authorities have mobilized all efforts to serve the congregation optimally in accordance with the direction of the Guards of the Two Holy Mosques of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, said the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Da'wah, and Counseling for Saudi Arabia Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Syaikh.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has issued 1.8 million e-visa for this year's Hajj season in a time note reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The announcement was made by Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr Abdulfattah Mashat at a press conference in Makkah on Saturday.

Mashat stated that the Saudi government emphasized the management of Hajj and provided an appropriate environment for pilgrims to worship easily and comfortably.
This year's Hajj is quite challenging because it takes place at a temperature of almost 46 degrees Celsius.
Saudi authorities are carrying out large-scale operations to ensure the congregation remains healthy and safe.
This fifth Islamic Rukun is a once-in-a-lifetime obligation for all Muslims who are physically and financially capable.
