Unsold In Indonesia, Hyundai Ioniq 6 Chooses To Launch First In The Philippines
Hyundai, an automotive giant from South Korea, officially launched its electric vehicle, Ioniq 6, in the Philippines. Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc (HMPH), a Hyundai car distributor in the Philippines, provides the GLS 2WD Long Range variant at a price of 3.7 million pesos or around IDR 1 billion.
According to reports from autoindustry, this car has a dynamic and elegant shape. After being exhibited at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2023, Ioniq 6 will be a competitor in the electric vehicle market in the Philippines along with Ioniq 5.
Hyundai Ioniq 6 variant of GLS 2WD Long Range offers interesting features and capabilities. Equipped with a magnetic synchronous permanent electric motor with a power of 225 dk and a torque of 350 Nm. The battery has a capacity of 77.4 kWh lithium-ion which allows this car to go up to 545 km in one charge. Ioniq 6 is also equipped with a fast charging capability using a DC fast charging that can charge the battery from 10% to 80% within 18 minutes.
To provide security to customers, HMPH provides a variety of benefits, including a warranty for 5 years or 200,000 km and free maintenance costs for 5 years or 75,000 km. Battery guarantees are available separately for 8 years or 160,000 km. In addition, HMPH also provides free home wall charging facilities for Ioniq 6 consumers.
Hyundai offers several attractive color choices for Ioniq 6, such as Abyss Black Pearl, Biophilic Blue Pearl, Curated Silver Metallic, Digital Green Pearl, Gravity Gold Matte, Nocture Gray Matte, Serenity White Pearl, and Ultimate Red Metallic.

Previously, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 was also exhibited in Indonesia by PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) last March. Although there are no plans to sell it in Indonesia, Ioniq 6 is already included in the Information on the Selling Value of Motorized Vehicles (NKJB) at a price of IDR 696 million, cheaper than the price in the Philippines.
