Scandalous Scenes With Someone's Husband In The Car, Sampang Sole ASN Subjects To Obligatory Report

JAKARTA - The Sampang Police, East Java, has declared the status of a suspect to a sole state civil servants (ASN) who were caught doing scandalous scenes in a car in a public place.

The female perpetrator with the initials IR works in a health center in Sampang Regency, while her "other man" with inital TA is a married man who also comes from Sampang Regency.

The couple's scandalous scene took place in the Kemisan Traditional Market area, Sampang, on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at around 17.00 WIB.

"We have examined the ASN and the couple, along with the residents who knew about the incident directly," said Head of the Operations Section (KBO) Reskrim Sampang Police, Ipda Syafriyanto, reported by Antara, Tuesday, January 26.

The police investigated the case upon reporting the husband of the sole ASN to the Ketapang Police Headquarters, and the police were transferred to the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Sampang Police.

"Based on the report, we then carried out an investigation, examined the related parties, then named the two perpetrators as suspects," he said.

In this case the investigators charged both of them with Article 284 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) on Adultery with a penalty of 9 months, and the suspects were not detained.

"The two suspects were not detained, but they are required to report twice a week, which is in Monday and Thursday," said KBO Reskrim Ipda Syafriyanto explained.

Apart from determining the suspect, the police also confiscated evidence in the form of a Luxio car with police number N-1037-KX which the two of them used to commit the forbidden act.

Regent Sampang, Slamet Junaidi, regretted the nasty case committed by ASN. According to him, it seriously defamed the Sampang Regency Government and should not be an example for the community.

"We have asked the Sampang Health Office to investigate the case, impose appropriate sanctions, because this case has tarnished the good name of the Sampang Regency Government. ASN should provide a good example, not defiling the good name of state servants," he said.
