Police Arrest 70 Drug Dealers In Cirebon
CIREBON - West Java City Police (Polresta Cirebon) officers, for six months, from early January to June 2023, have arrested as many as 70 suspects in various types of narcotics dealers, by confiscating a number of evidences.
"For six months we arrested 70 suspected dealers," said Cirebon Police Chief Kombes Arif Budiman, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, June 23.
According to him, the 70 suspects arrested were the result of the disclosure of 61 cases of narcotics trafficking in the jurisdiction of the Cirebon Police.
Of the 70 suspects, his party confiscated a number of evidences including 1,028 grams of crystal methamphetamine or one kilogram, 5,184 ecstasy pills, 897 grams of marijuana, and 42 thousand pills of limited hard drugs.
"There are already suspects who have been transferred to the Kejari, and there are also those who are still undergoing examination," he said.
Meanwhile, Cirebon Police Narcotics Head Kompol Dadang Garnadi said the last case was revealed, namely in June 2023, where his party arrested four people who were drug dealers of methamphetamine and ecstasy pills in the Cirebon Regency area.
According to him, the four suspects who arrested each had the initials MHD (44), MA (23), THP (37), and RS (42).

In addition, the amount of evidence that was successfully secured included 961.08 grams of crystal methamphetamine consisting of 844.05 grams of white crystals and 117.03 grams of red crystals. For evidence, the ecstasy pills that were secured reached 5,184 pills, consisting of 3,400 Instagram items, 1,723 minions, 28 Gucci types, and 33 superman types.
All suspects and evidence have also been secured to the Cirebon Police Headquarters for further investigation.
Two of these cases were revealed in the Kedawung District and one case in Tanung District, Cirebon Regency, and another case in Kesambi District, Cirebon City.
"To account for their actions, the suspects in the case of illicit trafficking and drug abuse of methamphetamine and eky pills were charged with Article 112 in conjunction with Article 114 in conjunction with Article 127 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics and threatened with a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison," he said.
