JCI Tuesday Merana, Foreign Investors Escape From BCA Shares Worth IDR 323 Billion
JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed lower again. Today, Tuesday 26 January, the JCI closed down 1.89 percent or 118.40 to the level of 6,140.17.
All sectoral indexes fell along with the JCI. The total volume of trading transactions today reached 19.61 billion shares with a transaction value of IDR 17.41 trillion.
A total of 94 stocks rose, 395 stocks fell, and 138 stocks were stagnant. The stock that fell the most was PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) with a decrease of 6.97 percent, while the one that flew the most was PT Mitra Keluarga Kary Advisor Tbk (MIKA) with a gain of 4.15 percent.
Foreign investors recorded a net buy of IDR286 billion in all markets. The stocks with the largest net purchases by foreigners were PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) with IDR 375.2 billion, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) IDR 83.5 billion, and PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) IDR 73.8 billion.
The stocks with the largest net sales or foreign sales were PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) IDR 323 billion, PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) IDR 28.7 billion, and PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) IDR 25 billion.
