MoU Signature, Five Partners ST Telemedia To Establish Point-of-Presence At STTT Jakarta 1
JAKARTA - On Wednesday, June 21, PT ST Telemedia Global Data Centers (Indonesia) or PT STT GDC Indonesia, a leading data center service provider headquartered in Singapore officially opened its first data center in Indonesia.
The data center, which is named STT Jakarta 1, is located in Cikarang, West Java. With a land area of 18,000 square meters, this data center is said to be able to support IT capacity of up to 72 megawatts, with a Jakarta 1 STT supporting up to 19.5 MW.
Along with the inauguration of its first data center, PT STT GDC Indonesia also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with four of its partners, namely:
Separately, PT STT GDC Indonesia has also signed an MoU with PT Berca Hardayaperkasa, a leading information and communication technology company, focusing on exploring the managed service that will be implemented at STT Jakarta 1.
The signing of the MoU aims to support Indonesia's digital economy growth and build a strong ecosystem with technology partners and local connectivity.
Based on the agreement, each of these connectivity partners will establish a point-of-presence (Pop) at STT Jakarta 1 to serve the domestic, regional and international connectivity needs of customers at the data center campus.
