Minister Of ATR Hadi Tjahjanto Ensures Completion Of Land Acquisition Of Padang-Sicincin Toll Road
PADANG - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning / Head of the National Land Agency (ATR / BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto said the construction of the 254 kilometer Padang-Pekanbaru Toll Road, especially the Padang-Sicincin Section (36.6 kilometers) is still in process.
"We continue to support the construction of the Padang-Sicincin Toll Road so that there are no problems and can be operated immediately," said Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto in Padang as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 20.
Hadi said the Padang-Sicincin Section Toll Road is expected to be completed or completed in 2024. This is in line with the efforts of the West Sumatra Provincial Government which targets the 2024 Eid al-Fitr the freeway can be passed by the public.
To speed up the process of developing the National Strategic Project (PSN), Minister Hadi emphasized that the ministry he leads will do everything possible to acquire land that is still incomplete.
"By working together, including support from the DPR, the Ministry of ATR/BPN to the West Sumatra Provincial Government which issued location determinations, God willing, the 2024 Lebaran can be used," he hoped.
For information, the latest data obtained by the National Land Agency of West Sumatra Province has freed or completed 1,541 plots of land for the construction of the Padang-Pekanbaru Toll Road, Padang-Sicincin Section, along 36.6 kilometers.

In general, there are 1,622 plots of land for the Padang-Sicincin Section, of which 1,541 have been completed by the West Sumatra BPN.
Then, for 81 areas of land that have not been completed, the local government continues to strive to complete it so that the construction of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road, which is a PSN, is completed according to the set target.
Specifically, 81 plots of land or about five percent that have not been completed will continue to be pursued. The government stated that the land that had entered the consignment stage was considered complete because it was immediately resolved by the court.
