Lionel Scaloni Signs The Rotation Of Players Against The National Team, Shin Tae-yong Says It Will Not Affect Albiceleste's Power
JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team will undergo the FIFA Matchday agenda against the Argentine national team. In the match on Monday, June 19, Albiceleste was allegedly going to rotate the squad.
Asked about the opportunity to face the Argentine national team with a second-tier player, Shin Tae-yong has his own views. For him, who will play in the match later, it will not affect Albiceleste's strength.
"What kind of athlete is the Argentine, so even though it is rotated, it is actually the same as not reducing strength," said Shin Tae-yong during a press conference ahead of the match at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Sunday, June 18.
The South Korean coach also mentioned the Argentine national team player who did not play in the domestic league and chose to defend the team outside his country. This adds strength as well as gives color.
In the Argentine team now no one plays in their own league, the whole abroad. So even though one or two players are missing from the squad, the team's color will not change," he continued.
Against the Indonesian national team, Argentina was confirmed without three star players, namely Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria and Nicolas Otamendi. But reflecting on the strong background of the team, Shin Tae-yong felt the absence of the name above still made Argentina the best team.
"Without Lionel Messi or (Angel) Di Maria, they are still the best team in the world," he said.
On a different occasion, Lionel Scaloni as the coach of the Argentine national team also indicated that he would rotate when he met the Garuda Squad. He will do that as a form of experiment.
"This player's rotation is not because he sees Indonesian players, but because he wants to try something new for experiment," said Lionel Scaloni.
