Indonesia Jimny Festival 2023 Breaks MURI Trackday Record By Most Types Of Cars, Bamsoet: Appreciation And Proud
BOGOR - Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly as well as Chairman of the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet) together with national automotive figures Subronto Laras and Tinton Soeprapto opened the 2023 Indonesia Jimny Festival (IJF).
IJF 2023 broke the record of the Indonesian World Record Museum (MURI) as a Trackday by Car One of the Most Types. Involving nearly 600 Jimny vehicles that cross the Sentul International Circuit track.
Not only Jimny lovers from within the country, this event was also attended by Jimny lovers from Malaysia, Thailand and Japan.

Also present were MURI Senior Customer Relations Andre Purwandono, Chair of the 2023 IJF Committee Ronny Kusuma, and SIS President Director Didi Hardianto. Also present were Central IMI administrators, including the Board of Trustees and Commissioners of SIC Tinton Soeprapto, Deputy Chairperson of Inter-Institutional Relations Junaidi Elvis, Communication and Media Hasby Zamri, and DKI Jakarta IMI Chair Anondo Eko.
Bamsoet explained, not only the MURI record, the IJF 2023 event was also enlivened by various interesting activities. Among others, Jimny Camp, Jimny Contest, Jimny Marketplace, Jimny Parts Booths and Food Trucks, Jimny Wall of Fame, Jimny Fashion Week, and Jimny Fun Games.
"The existence of this event also mobilizes economic turnover in the Jimny ecosystem. It is proven that a month before the 2023 IJF event, parts stores, accessories, workshops and repair bodies were crowded by IJF participants who wanted to repair their Jimny vehicles," explained Bamsoet.

Bamsoet explained, carrying the tagline One Jimny, this event is very useful for linking the solidity ties of Jimny lovers from various regions, as part of strengthening national solidity ties.
