International Drug Network In South Kalimantan Revealed, Smuggling 35 Kg Of Crystal Methamphetamine In Coffee Packaging
The Directorate of Drug Investigation of the South Kalimantan Police is investigating the Arabic coffee packaging as a 35 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine that was successfully uncovered recently by arresting two suspects in the international network in Banjarmasin.
"For our development, we are collaborating with several regional police officers who have also revealed methamphetamine wrapped in a similar packaging," said Director of Drug Investigation at the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Pol. Tri Wahyudi, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, June 18.
He admitted that narcotics wrapped in Arabic coffee packaging with a black dominant color are considered the first time they have been exposed in South Kalimantan.
Previously, methamphetamine from an international network was often found wrapped in green Chinese tea packaging.
Therefore, according to Tri, further investigation is needed whether the latest methamphetamine found in the disclosure of 35 kilograms is still a series of networks that often use Chinese tea packaging or not.
"We also asked Bareskrim for help to analyze the new face of this methamphetamine wrapper," he explained.
