Land Fire In Nagan Raya Aceh Reaches 13 Hectares
NAGAN RAYA - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh, noted that the area of land fires that occurred in a number of areas in the area reached 13 hectares.
"The expansion of the land fire point is due to limited water sources at the fire site, so that extinguishing efforts are hampered," said Head of BPBD Nagan Raya, Aceh, Irfanda Rinadi as reported by ANTARA, Friday, June 16.
There is also the location of the land fire that is currently happening in Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh, he said, namely in the Sumber Bakti Village area (Pulo Kruet), Darul Makmur District, with an area of peatlands burned up to three hectares.
At this location, he said, the hotspots had been extinguished by around 90 percent, but conditions at the location were still very prone to fires due to limited water sources to extinguish.

Then in Kayee Uno Village, Darul Makmur District, Nagan Raya Regency, the area of burned land has reached about six hectares.
Meanwhile, in Lawa Batu Village, Kuala District, Nagan Raya Regency, the area of land burned is about three hectares and the flames have been extinguished.
For the location of the fire in Alue Ie Mameh Village, Suka Makmue District, Nagan Raya Regency, said Irfanda, the area of land burned is about one hectare and until Friday night the fire has been extinguished.
Irfanda Rinadi said to extinguish the fire, the Nagan Raya BPBD and a joint team directed six units of water pump engines to extinguish fires in a number of locations in this area.
