Superior In Extreme Medan, Mu-X 4x4 Isuzu Is Trusted As Perhutani Operational Vehicle

JAKARTA - Astra Isuzu, an Isuzu vehicle distributor in Indonesia, officially handed over the Isuzu Mu-X model with a total of 70 units to the State Forestry General Company (Perhutani) to be used as an operational vehicle.

The handover of the unit was attended by the Head of the Regional Division of Perhutani Jabar and Banten Asep Dedi Mulyadi, Head of the General Department of the Perhutani Headquarters Arman Irawan, Branch Manager of Astra Isuzu Cirebon Sri Hartanto, and PT Pesonna Optima Jasa as the provider of Perhutani's operational vehicles.

"We feel very proud because we are trusted by Perhutani. Isuzu mu-X 4x4 is the right choice to use in all terrains, including in the operational area of Perhutani," said Astra Isuzu Cirebon Branch Manager Sri Hartanto as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, June 9.

Not only handing over Mu-X's Isuzu unit to Perhutani, Isuzu will also provide special training in the form of driving safety to Perhutani's operational team.

"Today, driving safety training and driving guidelines are also being carried out for Isuzu mu-X 4x4. This activity is Astra Isuzu's commitment to the safety of Isuzu vehicle users," added Hartanto.

Several units of Mu-X Isuzu will be deployed to several areas for Perhutani operations with 18 units, including for the operational areas of Perhutani, West Java (Jabar) and Banten divisions.

"Today we received the dropping of operational vehicles, official vehicles from the center, phase I, namely as many as 18 units of Isuzu mu-X 4x4 type," said Asep Dedi Mulyadi, head of the West Java and Banten Perhutani Regional Divisions.

Then, 24 other vehicles will be sent to Perhutani Semarang area and 28 units for the Surabaya area.

Asep reasoned that his party considered that the Mu-X 4x4 Isuzu had met Perhutani's operational vehicle standardization, with a four-wheel drive (4WD) type, and was very reliable used by Perhutani over the past three years.

In addition, the Mu-X 4x4 Isuzu was chosen because it can support the work of the work unit leaders who need operational vehicles. Moreover, these vehicles can bulldoze extreme terrain.

The advantage of using a vehicle from Isuzu is because it has after sales networks spread throughout the region. This makes it easier for users to carry out routine maintenance.

"Maintenance is the main thing because it involves safety. If we look at it, Astra (Isuzu) has a broad after sales network. We hope that this vehicle can be treated in an official network spread across each area of our work unit. So, we don't have to go far because in the work unit area there is also (After sales service)," concluded Asep Dedi Mulyadi.
