Looking For 2 Missing Fishermen, Bima NTB SAR Post Handling Sinking Anglers
The joint SAR team is looking for an angler suspected of drowning after his boat was found in the waters of Gusu, Bima, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
This search was in the middle of a search operation for two fishermen missing after going to sea in the waters of Sepungu.
"Based on the report, the victim [pemancing] was on behalf of Sahrudin, 38 years old from Lewi Hamlet, Sangiang Village, Sape District, Bima Regency," Head of the Mataram SAR Office, Lalu Wahyu Efendi said in a written statement, Friday, June 9, confiscated by Antara.
Wahyu said the victim was suspected of drowning because only a canoe was found without its owner in Gusu waters.
In addition to using an engined rubber boat, the search in the waters also uses a speed boat belonging to Polairud Kota Bima and a fishing boat.
"We also use the Aqua Eye tool for underwater searches," he said.

The joint Sar team for the search for tracing involves elements from the TNI, Polri, BPBD, fishermen/local communities, and potential SAR for the Bima region.
Because there were two simultaneous operations, Wahyu said that the Bima SAR Post had problems related to the number of personnel and limited limited equipment.
However, he said, this shortfall could be overcome by the involvement of potential SAR in the search.
"Hopefully it goes well and all the victims are found safe," he said.
