10 Jokowi Programs Not Achieved In 2024 Revealed By Head Of Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa

YOGYAKARTA Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) term as President of the Republic of Indonesia will end in 2024. Ahead of this period, the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa explained that there were several targets for Jokowi's program not to be achieved in 2024.

Suharso Monoarfa explained that there are 10 indicators of the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) which are at risk of not being implemented in the last year of President Jokowi's term. He revealed this during a working meeting (raker) with Commission XI of the DPR RI in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Monday, June 5, 2023. The ten programs are as follows.

In 2024, the government targets the complete basic immunization to reach 90 percent. However, until 2022 the target will only reach 63.17 percent.

The government initially targeted to reduce the stunting rate of toddlers by 14 percent in 2024. Unfortunately until 2022 the figure is only 21.6 percent.

The target of wasting toddlers or weight loss in 2024 is 7 percent. Meanwhile, last year the target was 7.7 percent.

The government is also targeting the handling of tuberculosis. The hope is that the decline in TB sufferers is 297 per 100 thousand population. However, currently the figure is only 354 per 100 thousand cases.

The government had targeted the reduction or elimination of malaria to 405 cases per Regency/City. However, currently, elimination has only touched 372 cases per Regency/City.

Regency/City reduction is targeted to reach 514 cases. However, only 403 cases per Regency/City have been realized.

The smoking rate in children in 2022 will reach 9.10 percent. Whereas the President targets a decrease of 8.7 percent next year.

The government is also targeting a reduction in the obesity rate in adults by 21.8 percent.

The first level health facility (FKTP) is targeted to have been accredited 100 percent. Unfortunately, in 2022 it will only reach 56.4 percent.

The government targets health centers to have standard health workers by 2024 at 83 percent. However, in 2022 it will only be realized by 56.07 percent.
