Ketum IDA: Mastering New Technology Like AI Is The Key To Media Industry Growth

JAKARTA - Huawei Cloud and the Indonesia Digital Association (IDA) collaborated in holding the Media & Entertainment Summit entitled Unlock New Growth in Media & Entertainment with Huawei Cloud.

In his remarks, Dian Gemiano, the Chairperson of the IDA said that mastering technology, especially data, videos, and new technologies such as AI, is the key to opening up new growth areas for the media industry.

"Cloud technology plays an important role in maintaining user efficiency, quality, and experience in accessing content. IDA will collaborate more closely with local media & entertainment industry players to encourage innovation in the cloud and explore more opportunities for mutual success," Dian said, citing its official broadcast Tuesday, June 6.

Furthermore, Jamy Lyu as President of Huawei Cloud Media Service Product Dept also said that currently audio and video technology is one of the main technologies that encourages industrial growth.

In addition, Jamy, who was present virtually, said that the metaverse has become one of the warmest topics of discussion in the digital economy. He believes that virtual spaces that bring together virtual humans and real humans will emerge in various industries and become part of everyday life, from socializing, working, to entertainment.

"Industrial actors must also be prepared to provide creative and interactive 3D applications according to user interests," said Jamy.

With the presence of this event, Huawei Cloud hopes to help more and more media industry players to adopt the cloud in order to penetrate existing obstacles, as well as work closely with partners and their customers to bridge the gap in the industry.
