SAR Team Finds Girl Who Drowned In The Tembesi River

JAMBI - The Joint SAR Team managed to find Melinda's body, a girl who was reported to have drowned while bathing in the Tembesi River, Sarolangun Regency, Jambi. The 10-year-old victim was found dead.

The victim was found floating in the river by the SAR team which was one kilometer from the scene where the victim took a bath and was declared drowned.

Jambi Basarnas Public Relations Officer, M Luthfi, said the SAR team evacuated the victim to the funeral home and handed it over to the family for burial.

The victim was previously reported drowned on Thursday, June 1. The victim was found on the third day of search.
