Again, The National Police DVI Successfully Identified 2 Victims Of Sriwijaya Air SJ-182, A Total Of 49 People
JAKARTA - The Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) Team for the Medical and Health Center of the Police Hospital has identified 2 victims of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 crash.
Thus, the total number of victims identified as of Friday, January 22 was 49.
"This afternoon the reconciliation team managed to re-identify the two bodies through DNA identification," said Head of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, Brigadier General Asep Hendradiana.
The identified victims were Yumna Fanisyatuzahra (3) and Muhammad Nur Kholifatul Amin (46). Of the 49 victims identified, the bodies that have been handed over to the family for burial until this evening are 40 bodies.
The DVI team continues to identify victims even though the search for victims of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 crash was stopped on Thursday, January 21 yesterday.
There were 325 body bags and 274 property bags that the DVI team received for victim identification.
The Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane on the Jakarta-Pontianak route lost contact on Saturday, January 9 at around 14:40 WIB. The plane is known to have crashed in the waters of the Thousand Islands between Lancang Island and Laki Island.
The plane took off from Soekarno Hatta Airport at 14.36 WIB. The schedule was delayed from the previous flight schedule at 13.35 WIB. Departure delay due to weather factors.
Based on manifest data, the aircraft produced in 1994 carried 62 people consisting of 50 passengers and 12 crew members. Of these, 40 adults, seven children, three babies. while the 12 crew consists of six active crews and six extra crews.
