Kapolda Ensures Professionals Handling Immoral Cases Involve Members In Central Sulawesi
PALU - Central Sulawesi (Sulteng) Police Chief Inspector General Agus Nugroho ensured that his institution acted professionally in handling immoral cases against minors in Parigi Moutong Regency who allegedly involved members of the National Police.
"We will be professional and transparent in handling cases that occurred in Parigi Moutong as our commitment to resolve the case," the Kapolda told reporters, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, June 2.
The Regional Police Chief explained that investigators had examined a member of the National Police with the initials MKS who along with 10 other people had been reported to be involved in this immoral case.
Until now, MKS has not been named a suspect because there is not enough evidence.
"The evidence must be sufficient according to the rules and the Central Sulawesi Regional Police have examined the MKS. If later proven guilty, of course the legal process will run," he said.
However, continued the Kapolda, MKS, who has the rank of Inspector of Police Two (Ipda), has been dismissed or dismissed from his duties during the examination process.
Agus Nugroho added that the development of the examination of Polri members will also continue to be conveyed to the public, as well as the examination process that prioritizes the principles of professionalism so that handling is more open.
"We will continue to convey the results of the examination and we will carry out the legal process according to existing regulations," said Agus.
Previously, the police had named 10 suspects in the alleged immoral case against minors, namely HR (43) a village head in Parigi Moutong, ARH (40) an elementary school teacher in Sausu Village, AK (47), AR (26), MT (36), FN (22), K (32), AW, AS, and AK.

Of the 10 suspects, currently seven people have been detained, while three other suspects are on the wanted list (DPO) or fugitive.
"Three DPO suspects, namely AW, AS and AK. We warn the three of them to immediately surrender themselves to undergo the legal process. For residents who see or know the whereabouts of the three DPOs, they should immediately report to the nearest police station," said the Kapolda.
