Europa League Champion, Sevilla Stops Jose Mourinho's Ciamic Record In Europe To Stabilize Hegemony
JAKARTA - Sevilla solidified their hegemony in the Europa League. The Spanish La Liga club again grabbed the trophy after defeating AS Roma in the final, Thursday, June 1, early morning WIB.
In addition, Sevilla's victory also ended the sweet record for AS Roma coach, Jose Mourinho, who always won when he brought his team to the European competition final.
The two teams actually drew 1-1 against Puskas Arena, Budapest. AS Roma took the lead thanks to Paulo Dybala's goal before Sevilla equalized the score through Gianluca Mancini's own goal. The score did not change until normal time was over and the winner had to be determined on penalties.
Four Sevilla executors did their job well, while the second and third AS Roma kickers failed to score so the Spanish club won their seventh Europa League title, according to the official UEFA website as reported by Antara.

Sevilla won a penalty shootout with a score of 4-1 over AS Roma and managed to calm the 2022/23 Europa League trophy.
