Moeldoko Invites Toraja Students To Participate In Building Indonesia
TANA TORAJA - Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko gave a public lecture at the Toraja Indonesian Christian University (UKI), in South Sulawesi, Tuesday, May 30. In his presentation, he advised young people not to be afraid to become leaders and play a role in developing Indonesia.
Moeldoko said, to become a leader requires courage. Starting from daring to take risks, facing changes and challenges, to daring to ignore people'sria.
According to him, the courage of young people to become leaders is needed. Because, the leadership of Indonesia in 2045 is in their hands.
This is also the strong foundation of President Joko Widodo's administration, making the development of human resources one of five priority agendas towards advanced Indonesia. Moreover, Indonesia will face demographic bonuses.
Moeldoko emphasized that the development of human resources is not only a matter of education. But also related to the welfare of the community and health. For this reason, the government is currently working hard to reduce the number of handling extreme poverty and stunting.
"Regarding government education, PIP has prepared elementary to high school levels, and KIP for students. Take advantage of government facilities properly, don't misuse them," he ordered.
In a public lecture, the 2013-2015 TNI Commander also emphasized the importance of young people knowing and understanding various state problems. Especially, when Indonesia is facing global challenges. Such as the threat of an energy, food and financial crisis.
