All Regencies/Cities In East Java Win WTP Predicate, Khofifah Reminds Regional Heads To Follow Up On BPK Recommendations
East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa expressed his gratitude for the title of Unqualified Opinion (WTP) achieved by all regions covering 38 regencies/cities in the local province.
The WTP predicate was given by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) regarding the examination report (LHP) on the 2022 regional government financial statements (LKPD).
"Surely all regents/mayors of all East Java are satisfied. Everything is WTP without exception. But keep in mind, don't forget to follow up on BPK's recommendations," Khofifah said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, May 26.
The BPK LHP WTP opinion on the 2022 LKPD was handed over simultaneously to all regencies/cities by the Head of BPK East Java Representative Karyadi, which was received by the regent/mayor and chairman of the DPRD from each region in Sidoarjo on May 25.
"Furthermore, let's maximize the follow-up of all BPK recommendations. Because some are in the second quarter of 2022, the follow-up percentage is still below 90 percent. Some are already more than 95 percent," said Khofifah.
The Head of the East Java BPK Representative, Karyadi, explained that the recommendations were given with several notes regarding which points there were often findings at the LKPD.
There are four points that are of concern. The first is the error of the budgeting post. The second is related to calculating taxes and regional levies.
The third is related to regional and fourth spending related to the delay in several development projects.
"We must pay close attention to the four points in the BPK recommendation. We must pay close attention to the big agencies. This is a step to minimize things that we don't want in the future," he said.

Karyadi said, through these recommendations, the BPK did not want any findings with repeated errors.
"Sometimes it occurs with different individuals but the mode is repeated. Therefore, update the database and be careful in using the budget, managing regional spending, and effective regional revenue. In addition, be careful in the addendum to development projects," he said.
Karyadi hopes that the follow-up of all local governments regarding recommendations with the notes that have been provided by BPK has been corrected within 60 days.
