JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts cloudy sunny conditions dominate almost the overall weather of major cities in Indonesia on Wednesday 17 May. Based on data quoted from the official BMKG website in Jakarta, Wednesday reported cloudy sunny weather conditions that could potentially occur in a number of cities such as Denpasar, Serang, Maluku, Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Jambi, Surabaya, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Samarinda, Pangkalpinang, Ambon, Mataram, Kupang, Pekanbaru, Manado, Medan, and Padang during the day. Sunny weather has the potential to occur in two areas such as Banda Aceh and Tarakan with air temperatures ranging from 24 - 35 degrees Celsius. While cloudy weather has the potential to occur in Semarang, Palang Raya, Tanjung Pinang, Jayapura, and Mamuju. Light rain is predicted to fall in Gorontalo, Bandung, Ternate, Manokwari, Makassar, and Kendari with light intensity and humidity 60 - 95 percent. Rain is predicted to fall in Bandar Lampung and rain accompanied by lightning is predicted to fall in Palembang. Entering the evening, cloudy weather dominates more in a number of major cities in Indonesia such as in Banda Aceh, Serang, Bengkulu, Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Semarang, Samarinda, Ambon, Jayapura, Mamuju, Makassar, Kendari, and Palembang. Sunny weather has the potential to occur in Kupang and Tarakan with air temperatures ranging from 18 - 32 degrees Celsius. While sunny cloudy weather is potentially occurring in Denpasar, Gorontalo, Surabaya, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Pangkang, Pangang, Tanjung Pinang, Mataram, Manado, and Padang.
