Get Acquainted With The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's Fire Fighting Robot
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has just purchased a fire fighting robot, named Dok-Ing MVF-5 U3. This robot was purchased for Rp. 32 billion, and has been ordered since 2019.
This robot that functions as a firefighter and rescue officer has a variety of powerful features. Initially the MVF-5 was designed to perform emergency tasks at the scene of a disaster.
Meanwhile in Indonesia, this robot comes with a fire extinguisher feature. Based on its function, this robot can be operated using a remote up to a viewing distance of 1.5 meters. So that it can reduce the risk of harm to officers.
Equipped with an R / C battery that can last up to 10 hours of use. Equipped with a system of nine video cameras and a screen for live monitoring.
There are dozer blades and claws that can rotate and push a 10 tonne load, as well as 2 tonnes to pinch and lift. Loads that are lifted such as cars, trucks damaged after traffic accidents. The light sector serves to illuminate the main mover, gripper and water cannon.
The MVF-5 has a water reservoir which is divided into three parts, rotating 360 degrees with the German Ziegler monitor. Can hold 55 meters of water and 45 meters of foam. The gear pump foam system can be adjusted three to six percent.
The MVF-5 runway sector has a water-cooled perkins TD-250 Tk engine with a capacity of 240 liters which can operate for 16 hours non-stop. MVF-5 can travel with a 30 degree climbing slope. Moreover, this robot also has the capability of a 180Hp horse-powered engine.
More completely, as a means of decomposing fire material too, the MVF-5 can open and push the pile of material or materials that have piled up and at the same time spray water to the fire spot which is covered by the pile of collapsed building materials or materials. The MVF-5 robot is predicted to be able to withstand an explosion that suddenly occurs during a fire.
Others, not only fires for buildings, houses, gas stations and factories, the MVF-5 can also help extinguish fires in the tunnels by using a rail kit designed to transport LUF60 with a maximum speed of 40km / hour.
For information, the LUF60 is also a fire fighting robot that is smaller than the Dok-Ink MVF-5 U3, which is produced in Austria. This robot is able to suck up smoke and flood water.
Questioning the price, the DKI Provincial Government confirmed that Dok-Ing MVF-5 U3 was purchased at a price of IDR 32 billion, while the LUF60 was around IDR 8 billion.
