The Head Of Makassar Customs And Excise Who Went Viral Due To Showing Off His Assets Became A Suspect At KPK
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named the Head of Makassar Customs Andhi Pramono as a suspect in alleged receipt of gratuities. He was ensnared after his property became the public spotlight until he was finally examined.
"An alleged criminal incident was found related to the receipt of gratuities carried out by an official at the Director General of Customs and Excise of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance," said Head of the KPK Reporting Section Ali Fikri told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, May 15.
Ali confirmed that evidence had been collected after they made forced efforts, one of which was to search Andhi's house in the Cibubur Tourism Legend area. From this activity, various documents and electronic devices were found that were allegedly related to gratuity practices.

Furthermore, the KPK will summon witnesses who are suspected of knowing Andhi's actions. However, Ali has not specified when the summons will be.
"We ensure that all investigative mechanisms are guided by the rule of law and we also hope for the support of the community to be able to oversee and also play a role in providing information," he said.
Meanwhile, the schedule for calling Andhi to be followed up with efforts to force detention has not yet been conveyed by Ali. "Because the collection of evidence is in progress," he concluded.
