Formula E Cars Will Convoy On Protocol Roads A Week Before The Race
JAKARTA - A number of Formula E (Jakarta E-Prix) 2023 racing cars are said to be traveling in convoys on the Jakarta protocol road a week before the race is held on May 28.
"If so, it will be done a week before the D-day, the 28th," said the Jakarta E-Prix 2023 Project Director, Ivan Cahya Permana when contacted, Monday, May 15.
Ivan revealed, PT Jakarta Propertindo as the organizer has applied for a road use permit to the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency and Polda Metro Jaya for the electric racing car convoy.
"We are coordinating for road permits, that's the term. Later there will be several cars, we haven't detailed them yet," he said.
Meanwhile, in terms of infrastructure preparation, minor repairs to the asphalt circuit in the Ancol area have been completed. Repairs to the track's asphalt were accelerated, referring to FIA Formula E rules which state that the circuit must be completed two months after the race is held.
In general, the implementation of Formula E in 2023 is no different from last year. PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) as the organizer provides several categories of viewing tickets that they sell.

There are tickets for the circuit festival category which sell for IDR 750,000. Spectators of this category are welcome to occupy 6 areas without spectator seats.
Then, there are tickets for the grandstand category, placed on seats spread across 9 areas around the circuit. These tickets are sold for IDR 1 million to IDR 1.5 million per day.
Meanwhile, VIP class tickets for the deluxe category cost IDR 10 million per day and the royal category sells for IDR 12 million per day.
The electric car racing event which was held in Ancol, North Jakarta was also enlivened by performances by domestic and foreign musicians. Among them are Alan Walker, Angger Dimas, DJ Yasmin, Judika, Kla Project, Rossa, and RAN.
