While Crying, Attorney Pinangki: I Was Born In Yogya From A Very Simple Family
JAKARTA - Attorney Pinangki Sirna Malasari told about the beginning of his career as a prosecutor when he read out a note of defense alias pledoi on the case he was being accused of.
"I want to start my personal pledoi by telling my personal life journey as a prosecutor," said Pinangki at the Jakarta Corruption Crime Court (Tipikor), reported by Antara, Wednesday, January 2.
In this case, prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari was charged with 4 years in prison plus a fine of Rp. 500 million, a subsidiary of 6 months in prison.
The three actions of Pinangki, namely accepting bribes totaling 450 thousand US dollars (around Rp.6.6 billion) from the convicted "cessie" Bank Bali Joko Tjandra, laundering US $ 337,600 and carrying out an evil conspiracy by promising US $ 10 million to officials at AGO and MA to thwart Joko Tjandra's execution.
"I was born and raised in the city of Yogya in a very simple family life. At that time I couldn't afford to go to college," said Pinangki.
In 2000, Pinangki met her first husband, Djoko Budiarjo (deceased). "With the kindness and generosity of the deceased, I was funded by the bachelor's degree at the University of Ibnu Kaldun Bogor. In 2004, I graduated from my bachelor's degree. At the suggestion of my late husband, I registered at the RI Prosecutor's Office and thank God I was accepted at the RI Prosecutor's Office to become a prospective prosecutor," added Pinangki. .
Then in 2007 Pinangki was appointed prosecutor.
After becoming a prosecutor, at the suggestion of her late husband, Pinangki admitted that she focused on self-development by continuing her studies at a higher level until finally obtaining a 2011 doctorate in Law Science.
"My career as a prosecutor has been mediocre and has never held a strategic position. My 10-year history as a prosecutor that I have held is an administrative position that is neither technical nor related as a procurement officer in goods and services procurement projects," said Pinangki.
In 2011 he served as functional prosecutor in the Civil Administration of the State (Datun), in 2012 Pinangki served as functional prosecutor in the Supervision Sector, in 2014 Pinangki served as Echelon 4 as Head of Sub-Directorate for Statistics and Analysis at the Center for Data and Criminal Statistics Information (Pusdakrimti) at the Attorney General's Office Great.
"Then in 2016 he served as Head of Subdivision of Monitoring and Evaluation at the Planning Bureau," said Pinangki.
During the 6-minute personal pledoi reading, Pinangki repeatedly cried and stammered while reading the pledoi.
