Ambassador Aims For 1,000 Indonesian Students Tempuh Pendidikan Di Poland In 2025
JAKARTA - Polish Ambassador to Indonesia Beata Stoczynska targets a thousand Indonesian students to study in Poland by 2025.
Stoczynska revealed that the Polish Embassy wanted to strengthen and expand higher education cooperation with Indonesia.
"Education is one of the (important) priorities in my work," Stoczynska said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 11.
Beata revealed that there have been Polish courses at three Indonesian universities, namely the University of Indonesia, Atmajaya University, and Airlangga University.
"Teachers from Poland come and teach during one academic year here. Everything is financed by the Polish government," said Beata.
He said Poland was open to conducting general research and academic exchanges.
According to him, the Polish government provides a scholarship program for Stefan Banach for Indonesian students who want to continue their master's degree program in Poland.
On the same occasion, Professor Jakub Zajaczkowski of Warsaw University said his campus worked with several universities in Indonesia.

According to Jakub, Warsaw University will sign a memorandum of understanding with the University of Indonesia, Airlangga University, and Parahyangan University.
"We will send more (Poland) students to Indonesia, and Poland will also receive more Indonesian students," said Jakub.
In the last three years, Indonesia has sent its students to Poland for one semester through the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) scholarship program.
The IISMA scholarship program is part of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program under the Directorate of Student Learning and Education (Belmawa) at the Ministry of Education and Culture.
